The Lost Months
I think October, November and the first half December of 2007 can, and will go down, as lost months for me. I don’t know what happened! Well, yes I do. Computers breaking, the struggles and triumphs of owning your own webpagemaking business, and a few things I am leaving out to protect the guilty and innocent.
Hey, I sold some pieces through redbubble.com last month which made me float around!
Hopefully I am back now. I have been burning the midnight oil now and again working in my studio when I can steal a few moments to do so. I am hoping over the weekend I will upload the pieces I have been working on. We have tons of snow here and I’m feeling all holed up like “The Shining” (leaving out the horror movie part) which always makes me feel less guilty about being outside and more like making art. The dark is conducive to wandering thoughts, cutting out collage elements and moving paint around with my brush. Quite meditative.
I really like winter. I know lots of people don’t, but I really like wintertime and it’s snow.
Snow is kind of cleansing if you think about it.
Like a fresh start is being made.
