An exqusite find!

So, I was out tonight with my friend Teresa, and happened upon some wicked yummy food at La Mestiza. Their Margarita I had was PERFECT! On the rocks, sour, sweet, and salty in equal measurements. Took me right back to Cozumel, 1997. I can’t wait to get back to that little island. It’s been a while. I’m sure its changed.

After food, we found ourselves over at TJ Maxx again, laughing our asses off and sort of being obnoxious. Good times, I say.

As we were browsing, Teresa found this hat for me and I believe it was made for me exclusively. Must have been since this was the only one there! Good God™ this hat rocks socks.

Does anyone have any idea how long I have wanted a hat just like this? In a color like this? Since MJ sang along with Paul McCartney in Say Say Say and way before he bent his dear Beatle friend over and stole the rights (sorry “purchased” the rights) to the Beatles songs. Who does THAT?! I will admit that when that went down, I lost a lot of respect and fandom for Mr MJ (way before the touching of little boys, mind you) I mean, I guess at the time, he had the cash to do it, but glory be, do you not have a soul?

BTW: I wanted the sweater along with the cool shoes they both were wearing in their checkered suits at the end of the video too, but I think the hat will suffice.

I feel this hat will be a permanent fixture upon my head from now on. Until next Memorial Day at least.

So I look like a spice girl. Hey, whatever. It makes me feel spry. And spunky. And glory be, I need all the help I can get in that arena lately. If a hat does the trick, then I say no harm done! Right? Right!
