Capitola Show: Saturday November 6, 2010
Fall’s here! I’m pretty happy the cooler weather is here. And it thrills me to no end to see frost every other morning. Yes, I certainly enjoy summer and being outside working in my garden and such, but the hot weather kills me. Literally kills me. I come alive in winter and am waiting patiently for January’s coldest days when my boogers freeze and when going outside feels like you’re walking on the surface of the moon. Did I mention I drive with my windows open in the wintertime? Because I do.
Lately I’ve been spending most of my time cranking out art cards which have been selling quite regularly I am very happy to report. I posted new stuff in the art section for the interested. I was even approached by Southern Minnesota Magazine to be a part of their ACEO/ATC feature for their winter arts issue. I am super excited about that and was thrilled to be asked and I thank them. And all because of ebay! I talk more about that in my podcast below.

If you would like to come out and see some music, hear some poetry, and have the time of your life —- you will have your chance tomorrow!
It’s a fall release party and it will be a blast. Hopefully we’ll get some video clips of the event that I’ll post here soon after. But still come out! I plan on jumping off an amp into the crowd. Am I serious? You’ll have to come out and see.
Outside of Capitola, French 76 as a band also has a couple shows in the works – so stay tuned for those details as well. We’ve been working like madmen in the music department lately and it feels good and helps me keep my car on the road and out of the river. We had a lovely time at our music retreat last moth. Making music and being in the woods and mini-mountains of Wisconsin. Does it get any better than that? Well, being on tour perhaps. Yes, that. Here are some pictures from that weekend.
I’ve also been working on some more music of my own again and that has been great to be getting into that again. I’ll get brave and start posting what I’ve been working on soonish.
