Spookies

So last night Mike and I were watching the sci-fi channel. Yes, we’re geeks. But say this as a statement, not as a shameful thing. Might as well embrace it, right? Im cool with it. It’s taken me a while, but Im cool with it. Course he and I argue that I stray into the “nerd” area (which is not cool I guess) but that’s another blog post all together…

We were watching Ghost Hunters. I actually made him keep it on, so I can’t say he went willingly. Every time I watch this show I seriously am rooting (sp?) for the ghost hunting plumbers to find something, but every time their promises of mystery and intrigue end up pissing me off. Last night however, my patience was rewarded. A haunted lighthouse! You bet your sweet whatever it’s haunted. I could see that from my living room’s boob tube box.

So this morning, Mike and I were discussing said episode, and he asked if I thought it was doctored because they never seem to find something – perhaps the CEO’s of Sci-Fi channel wanted to turn it up a notch. But judging from their genuine reactions and the fact that the stuff they caught on film really did leave you with a creepy sensation, I am going to have to go with it’s real.

And I already believe in ghosts just from some personal experiences I have had.

Then I started thinking.

What if there are parallel time-lines. Like…..WHAT IF….the so-called ghosts are alive in a different dimension, and are really human beings (not ghosts) and the ghost hunting plumbers are actually (in their world) haunting “them”? And what we see on camera is their energy trying to figure out why someone is trespassing in their lighthouse?

As a side-bar, I really I was in my studio doing art all day and not fretting about different dimensions and ghosts while watching TV wasteland.
