Time for something new
Well, I decided it was time to get the glasses I have always wanted. The vintagey “cat’s eye” glasses with little sparkles on the side. A goofy smile, but heh, I’ve never been too photogenic.

Hey, and thank you all for the kind comments on my previous entry. I have been learning a lot lately about how when I start gaining momentum in my endeavors, that I self sabotage and cease to continue. Over and over and over again. It is a struggle, but this time I’m determined to work through it this unhelpful cycle and pattern in my life.
The previous entry dedicated to being “on a roll”
This post is all about staying on the roll and not getting left behind in the wake of that roll.
Ever gone tubing? Behind a speed boat? Every time the boat takes off you swear you are not going to let go, but somehow it happens and your in the middle of the lake hoping the boat notices and turns around to get you?
I’m still on the tube, so no worries, I’m just worried about the sharp turn the boat that’s pulling me seems to want to make. Maybe it will maybe it wont, but I’m keeping my eye on it.
On that note, I’m gonna take a night time nap.

Your glasses rock!
THANKS CARRIE!
Cool glasses! Once I figure out how to use this internet thing I’ll send a pic of my new specs I think we went to the same store circa 1955!
LANCE! ITS LANCE EVERYONE! LANCE!
Boy I’ve missed you!
Nice specs.
Put a watch person on that boat. Someone who can notify the driver just in case and someone who can take snapshots of you rockin; on that tube. Tubing sometimes makes my butt hurt.
LANCE! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Very nice glasses! Are they finally prescription? phooey, I know they’re not. Definitely need a spotter while tubing, but I’m sure you’re strong enough to hang on to that tube no matter what the boat driver does to dump you off it.
They are not prescription, though I have put off going to eye Dr for like 5 years now. The last time I was there, they told me I am predestined for cateracts and scared the shit out of me so I have not returned. Not to mention it took a Dr and two nurses to hold me down and pry open my eyes to put that crap they put in your eyes to do whatever they do. Not one of my shining moments.
